Ignite, Intensify and Clear…
Repeat thrice

Mantra nya:s is a prerequisite internal process for dhya:na, meditation. It facilitates cleaning of the internal impurities in you, leaving yourself in a clean and natural state of existence.

  • To start the process, ignite fire in your navel, spread it towards the heart, and to the rest of the body.
  • Intensify the fire to all corners pushing air to the ignited fire.
  • After the fire is spread properly to all corners in full strength, wash off to remove the impurities that resulted from the burning of the unwanted samskaras, imprints.

Achieving a goal needs jna:na (knowledge). Sabda (sound) is the expression of knowledge. When sabda is put in the form of a re:kha (line), it becomes akshara (letter). When one utters these aksharas in the same swara (note) that it is expressed in, the relevant energy is produced.

If you want the greatest form of energy, it is the knowledge of the Supreme thaththva, God that you must fuel yourself with. Thus, chant the mantra that reveals the knowledge of God. Before you chant the mantra, prepare yourself with mantra nya:sa as explained above.

Abhishe:kam
the offering of sacred bath to God
Does God need a bath?

HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji playing drums in Samatha Kumbh 2023

Our bodies are made of five elements of Nature, pruthvi, the:jas, ap, va:yu, a:kasa. God’s divine form is called pancha upanishanmaya divya sri: vigraha. His form is made of five divine elements, available only in His abode. They are parame:sti, puma:n, viswa, nivrutthi, sarva.

When there is no question of impurities in those divine elements with which His body is formed, why does He need a bath?

It is for our sake that He accepts abhishe:kam. When we respectfully take abhishe:ka thi:rttha, it gradually enables us to excel in all aspects of life by elevating us with…

  • Milk representing the king of all knowledge from Upanishads, the essence of Vedas
  • Curd representing the knowledge transformed into faith
  • Ghee from butter representing devotion
  • Honey comes from various flowers, each flower representing a good quality in us offered in God’s service
  • Fruit juice representing the result of karma dedicated to Him thereby liberating us from its effects

VISITOR EXPERIENCES

Every year I do some charity by supporting the students. This year too I thought of contributing for Vedic students. But my mom suggested about Garuda seva in Samantha kumbh which is unique. So I am here. I feel very happy coming g here. The vahanam and the temples are great. I have never seen the divya desams before. Seeing all together is a won experience. Have to plan a tour to see the real ones in future. The bhajns, the pujas, the temples, this is the first time I ever saw. It’s very inspiring.
