This statue is made up of 5 metals (also called as Pancha Loha) because the legacy given by Lord Ramanujacharya swami a 1000 years ago when the rest of the world did not open its eyes, this legacy is relevant still today. In fact the need today for world peace and equality is much more than those days.

Lord Ramanujacharya swami was the first person to open the doors of the temple to even to untouchables and neglected communities in those days, and even though his own guru objected him not to give meaning of sacred mantras to others and cursed him he would go to hell if he gives the meaning to sacred mantra, but Ramanujacharya swami decided to give it to everyone who showed interest, he thought he does not mind going to hell, if the world is going to be safe from sins and misery.
