Statue of Equality is a monument which is being constructed in Bharath(India) for promoting Peace and Equality across the world. This monument has also inspired many lives in London, UK. Our JETUK and VTSUK volunteers have taken up the challenge to bring awareness of the monument the next level. Keeping this in mind our JETUK Trustee Sriman Ranjith Kumar Srirangam has taken up the challenge of “Promotion and Awareness” campaign for the monument. He abseiled from a height of 305 feet chanting Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha and spoke about the project to the people around there.
In his own words:
“We had many other monuments built but I couldn’t be part of those. But now I feel I have a golden opportunity to be part of this monument, Statue of Equality, which is being built for World Peace and Equality. I’m trying to be part of this monument in some or the other form of contribution. So I took up this challenge of promotion and awareness campaign. We (JETUK and VTSUK teams) are working for this great cause under the guidance of Acharya Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and we sure will bring as much awareness as possible at different venues, occasions etc. Thank you Acharya for the strength and we wish to contribute more and more for the monument in all forms Time, Money, Skills, Promotion, Media, etc.”
