Visiting the Statue of Equality and the 108 Srimannarayana Temples (Divya Desams) is a deeply spiritual and visually stunning experience. The entire complex is a testament to architectural brilliance, defined by its impeccable maintenance. Despite massive crowds, the premises are spotlessly clean, highly organized, and peaceful. Walking through the 108 meticulously crafted mini-temples feels like a grand divine journey.
The absolute highlight of the visit is the incredible variety of authentic prasadams:
Pulihora: Perfectly tangy and aromatic with traditional tempering.
Laddu: Rich, ghee-laden, and meltingly sweet with cardamom and nuts.
Badshah: Flaky on the outside, incredibly juicy, and syrupy on the inside.
With top-notch crowd management and mouth-watering prasadams, it is a world-class spiritual destination that shouldn't be missed.

Experience the mesmerizing statue of ramanujcharya & 108 temples.
U get a complimentary informative booklet based on 108 lords situated there in the premises available in hindi english & telugu language.

This statue of The Great Saint is made of 700 tonnes of panchaloha, a five-metal alloy of gold, silver, copper, brass and zinc. It was built in China and later shipped in 1600 individual pieces to India via Chennai Port in 54 shipments. Around 60 Chinese specialists including workers, engineers and welders assembled the segments on site. The assembly progressed during 2017 and 2018 and took 15 months to complete and was assembled on site in Muchintal, Hyderabad.
The base building has a meditation hall where a 54 inches (1.4 m) statue of Ramunuja made of 120 kg of gold, representing the years he lived.
The statue was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5 February 2022.

We visited the Statue of Equality around 5:00 PM and stayed there until 8:00 PM. From Uppal, it took us approximately 1.5 hours to reach. The place is extremely peaceful, well-maintained, and spiritually calming, making it one of the must-visit attractions in Hyderabad.

Photography inside is restricted. However, once you exit, there are professional photo counters where they take your pictures. You can purchase these photos after coming out, with prices starting from ₹250 depending on the photo size. Alternatively, you can take photos outside the premises, where phone usage is allowed.
Overall, the experience was very serene and well-organized. It’s a great place for families, spiritual seekers, and anyone looking for a calm and meaningful outing.
Visitor Speaks
For a long time, I tried to visit the Statue of Equality, but due to professional responsibilities, especially the new responsibilities of heading the ETV Life Spiritual Channel, it was not possible. Finally, after visiting the Statue of Equality and the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams on 21-3-26, my heart was filled with an indescribable experience. Truly, how wonderfully it has been constructed! Building a temple is not merely about raising a modern structure. Particularly, in the construction of the 108 Divya Desams, creating them in today’s modern era while adhering to the architectural styles of the respective states is remarkable. The way the pillars of Belur Chennakesava Temple were turned into marvels in days without technology is astonishing. Replicating such pillars in the same manner, and blending the styles of the Cholas, Pallavas, Hoysalas, Vijayanagara, and Kakatiya dynasties into the architectural forms, is truly impressive.
Especially, the monolithic chariot of Hampi has been recreated exactly as it is. Similarly, the gopurams of the northern Indian temples reflect their architectural style, while the Kerala-style gopurams are represented authentically, all standing as symbols of naturalness. What I liked most were the pink stone arches in the main hall, which are unparalleled and timeless. Constructed with soapstone, they are no less than the ancient structures of Aihole, Pattadakal, and Belur, and they vividly bring alive the artistic grandeur of those times. The dedication, love, and commitment shown in the Samata Murthy campus are always commendable and praiseworthy.
For the ETV Life Spiritual Channel, we filmed extensively across many of the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams in South India. While researching and viewing them, I often wondered whether I would ever be able to see at least some of them in my lifetime. That wish was fulfilled upon coming to the Samata Murthy campus. The systematic arrangement of the Divya Desams into Dakshina Patham and Uttara Patham, culminating in Paramapadam, was captivating.
As for the design of the Statue of Equality itself, words fall short. Its grandeur and magnificence are evident at first sight. The fountain arrangements in front of the statue, flowing like waves of water, combined with the dance offerings, are especially attractive to visitors. During this journey, the detailed explanations provided by volunteer sister Sunitha about each Divya Desam added valuable insights to my research writings for the channel, I extend special thanks to Seethanagaram Ashram in-charge Ramprasad Garu. Bhupati Garu. Suneetha Garu and the followers of Jeeyar Swamiji for giving me this opportunity.
For the world-class spiritual city “Om City. Ramoji Group Chairman Sri Ramoji Rao Garu envisioned recreating the 108 prominent temples of India exactly as they are. As the head of Om City, I successfully completed the responsibilities entrusted to me. Though the project did not materialize for certain reasons. my efforts to re-establish those 108 temples came to mind during this visit. With unwavering determination and wholehearted devotion, under the great resolve of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and with the support of Sri Rameshwar Rao Garu, this great yajna has borne fruit. It is no surprise, for this is a world-class construction, an unparalleled edifice gifted to humanity. The Statue of Equality will stand as
a cultural and spiritual bridge for generations to come, conveying the divine philosophy of Sri Sri Sri Ramanujacharya that service to all beings brings us closer to God. My heartfelt congratulations to everyone who contributed to this construction.

New generation youth can’t relate to sculptures vedas slokas etc, swamiji is reintroducing it to everyone in a new way.

How do you feel chanting Sri Ramanuja Nootrandadi ?
Chanting in front of Virat Sri Ramanujacharya swamy is a great blessing and good fortune. Everybody should learn it and also it should be chanted daily. Atleast Satrumurai Pasuram should be chanted. Singing the songs sung by SriAmudan Alwan who is equivalent to sricharanams of Sri Ramanujacharya swamy is a bliss.
– Ramakrishna Kilambi, Hyderabad
We are very happy to have been able to participate in the Abhishekam of swarna ramaujacharya, as women earlier it was not possible to be a part of such events or get mantropadesam, but Sri Ramanujacharyaji made this possible and our Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has blessed us today with his teachings.

It’s hard to believe that we are already celebrating the 1st anniversary of SOE. It is a fortunate opportunity to participate in golden Ramanuja’s Abhishekam. Its beautiful & blissful. The association with Ramanuja is uplifting. Just watching the water flowing through the divine body of Ramanuja cleanses our Manas and mind. Just hearing the chanting of his divine name cleanses our thoughts.

Garuda is God’s favorite vahanam. Being part of this in 108 Divya Desams , in Sri Ramanujacharya’s presence and Acharya presence is our luck.

Every year I do some charity by supporting the students. This year too I thought of contributing for Vedic students. But my mom suggested about Garuda seva in Samantha kumbh which is unique. So I am here. I feel very happy coming g here. The vahanam and the temples are great. I have never seen the divya desams before. Seeing all together is a won experience. Have to plan a tour to see the real ones in future. The bhajns, the pujas, the temples, this is the first time I ever saw. It’s very inspiring.

It feels like there is amrit here all over, in Swamiji’s words, in each inch of this place. It’s in those who come here to realize and relish it. I want to revisit this beautiful place, I want to bring the rest of my family, friends, near and dear and everyone I know. It is a must-watch for everyone irrespective of what faith one may belong to. It is just amazing
