The students of the Vedic institutions have once again proven their versatility by excelling not only in Vedic studies but also across a range of extracurricular activities, including sports, martial arts, and technology. Their recent victory in a cricket tournament held during Samatha Kumbh, the third anniversary celebration of the Statue of Equality, stands as a testament to their diverse talents.
The Samatha Kumbh event, commemorating the iconic Statue of Equality—a tribute to the 11th-century social reformer Bhagavad Ramanujacharya—was a grand affair marked by cultural programs, spiritual discourses, and competitive sporting events. Among the highlights was the thrilling cricket tournament, where the Vedic students emerged as champions, lifting the winner’s cup “EQUALITY CUP” in a hard-fought contest against strong contenders.
Their achievements, however, go far beyond the cricket field. These dedicated scholars have demonstrated exceptional skills in skating, National Cadet Corps (NCC) activities, and martial arts such as Karate and Taekwondo. Additionally, they have showcased impressive proficiency in computer skills, blending ancient wisdom with modern technology.
Recognizing their hard work and multifaceted skills, His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji encouraged the young achievers with a special gift. In an inspiring move to blend traditional education with modern learning, Swamiji presented digital classroom TVs to all the Vedic schools, empowering students with access to advanced educational tools.

Addressing the students, Swamiji emphasized the importance of a well-rounded education that nurtures both intellect and physical fitness. “Our Vedic scholars are the torchbearers of wisdom, and they should also be strong in body and mind. These digital tools will help them stay ahead in the modern world while staying rooted in our rich traditions” Swamiji said.
The event was a testament to the evolving approach in Vedic education, integrating sports, technology, and discipline alongside ancient teachings. Parents, teachers, and spiritual leaders lauded the achievements of the students, celebrating their ability to excel in diverse fields.
With such holistic development, the future looks bright for these young Vedic scholars as they continue to uphold tradition while embracing modern skills and opportunities.
Event organizers and dignitaries praised the students for their holistic development and dedication. Speaking on their success, a senior Vedic scholar remarked, “Our students embody the perfect harmony of tradition and modernity. Their achievements reflect the ideals of equality and universal knowledge, which the Statue of Equality symbolizes.
As the celebration concluded, under the guidance of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji —these young scholars are not only preserving ancient traditions but are also thriving in contemporary disciplines, symbolizing a bright and balanced future.
