Samatha Kumbh 2026 Day 8 feb 6

Collective Lakshmi Puja - Recital of Gadyatrayam

On February 6, 2026 Sri Swamiji conducted a collective Lakshmi Puja with all the devotees in the main venue. During Uttara Phalguni Nakshatram falling in Phalguna month, in Sri Rangam temple when Perumal and Ammavaru are together, Bhagavad Ramanuja presented them an epic called ‘Gadyatrayam’. The epic which is a dialogue between Sri Ranaganadha and Sri Ramanuja, has three parts.

In the context when Parumal and Ammavaru were together Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja sought His refuge and in the prayer described the beauty of the Perumal’s idol, His ornaments and only His attributes in lucid manner in Sanskrit. The essence of it is that Perumal is the only goal for us and only His service and worship can give us the results.

Samatha Kumbh 2026 Day 8 feb 6

This is like a treasure to us. This is a great prayer in excellent prose. Our Swamiji explained its essence in Hindi too for the benefit of North Indian students. These students were already taught by Swamiji about the way to sing the prayers collectively. Students, devotees recited Gadyatrayam along with Sri Swamiji. This is an oral offering that pleases the Saint of Equality. Sri Swamiji offered Mangalasasanams to all after the recital.
