Samatha Kumbh 2026 Day 2 Jan 31

Meditation / Pra:thah smaraneeyam / Ashtakshari Japam

  • At 6:30 AM, continuing a practice initiated during the Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Samaroh in 2022, Sri Swamiji personally led the collective chanting of the Ashtakshari Mantra. Priests of the 108 Divya Desams, Vedic Gurukul students, and pancha samskaram-initiated devotees participated to draw spiritual strength.

Dwajarohanam

  • Scriptural Recitations: The formal recitation of the Narayanopanishad, along with various other Vedic, Itihasa, Purana, and Agama scriptures, commenced. Sankalpa (sacred vow) was bestowed upon the Ubhayadars.
  • Flag Hoisting: Sri Swamiji paid rich tributes to Srimat Paramahansa Parivarajaka Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji, emphasizing that the yagnas are being performed strictly in a satvik manner following the Pancharatra Agamasastra. Following the theerthagoshti, Sri Swamiji attended the Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting) at Divya Saketham, which was immediately followed by Dhwajarohanam at the main Statue of Equality premises.
  • Blessings for Progeny: Sri Swamiji distributed the sacred Prasadam of Garuda Bhagawan to multiple couples seeking progeny.

Agni Prathishta

Prayers in the Yagashala & The Benevolent Nine

  • Invoking the Sacred Fire: Prayers were offered to Divya Saketa Rama and Sri Swamiji’s personal Perumal in the Yagashala. Under the presence of Sri Swamiji, the Yagnik Swamis successfully invoked the ceremonial fire from sunlight, a sacred element known as “Yuvagni” in Agama Shastra.
  • The Mystical Number Nine: Reflecting a recurring, benevolent pattern at the Statue of Equality, the Yuvagni fire was produced naturally in exactly nine minutes. Consequently, Havan rituals commenced across nine Kundas in the Yagashala, alongside Dwaranathorana puja.
