On February 8, 2026, after the Poornahuthi at Yagasala, Perumal adorned the Ratham (Car) and was ready for the Yatra. Sri Raghudatta Swami and his team made all arrangements for the worship and procession. Devotees gathered in large numbers on both sides to pull the Ratha. Sri Swamiji explained that while Perumal uses various beings as Vahanas, the human body itself is described in the Upanishads as a Ratha, with the senses as horses, mind as reins, and intellect as the charioteer, moving towards Bhagawan’s abode. After offering prayers and Harathi, Sri Swamiji waved the green flag to begin the Yatra. Elders and Gurukul students participated with devotion as the Rathotsavam proceeded reverently to the banks of Viraja Pushkarani, where Saketa Rama reached the Mandapam under Sri Swamiji’s guidance.
Abhisekam was offered to the Perumal with nine Kalashams. Chakra Snanam of Sudarshan Perumal was done in Viraja Pushkarani. Sri Swamiji took the dip first and later Yajnacharya, Pradhanacharya were given Sahasradhara shower. Together they all participated in Chakrasnanam. After the ceremony, Saketa Rama returned to his abode.
