Take 108 steps leading to the Statue of Equality
The steps are designed to calm you down and qualify it with a desire to reach the Statue of Equality, Ramanujacharya. They lead you with ease to the magnificent statue. As you take a few steps, look up to enjoy the view of the Statue at various positions
Meditate on the teachings of acharya
- Thousands of people across the world who are leading life as per the guidance from Ramanujacharya’s teachings donated gold that went into the making of Gold Ramanujacharya
108 Divya Desas
- Each of the 108 Divya Desa centers at the Statue of Equality are glorified with a sa:lagra:ma mu:rthi, also called sri: mu:rthi from the respective mu:la stha:na, root place
- The same has been done for each of the 108 Divya Desa centers to tie it with the mu:la stha:na, the root Divya Desa
The 216 feet high Statue of Equality
- Ramanujacharya statue stands high giving goosebumps filled with thrill and joy because the statue not only is a result of excellent workmanship but also a reflection of grandeur nature of a true acharya
- Walk around the Statue and look up to observe the posture of Ramanujacharya at various angles
- There are beautifully carved 36 elephants, each offering water giving cool and pleasant feel
Self-guided audio/visual tour
- It’s a pure blessing that HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji Himself graciously took time to record a brief history of each of the 108 Divya Desas so that each of the visitor can truly relish the joy of learning about God’s incarnation and His qualities from an acharya
- Vedas recommend learning about true nature of body and what’s beyond body from an acharya, just like a student learns from his/her teachers at school on various physical sciences, languages, mathematics etc
