On February 9, 2026 afternoon Sri Pushpayagam Dwadasharadhana were offered to the Perumal. Sri Prashna Samhita explains this programme very lucidly in 38th chapter. It says that a spacious ‘chakrabja mandapam’ has to be created with flowers and worship Perumal in that. Dwadasharadhana is considered to be a panacea for all the defects in worship like Mantralopam, Kriyalopam, Dravyalopam etc. Dwadasharadhana is started by reciteng 27th and 28th Shlokas in Chapter 38. Flowers are offered at the lotus feet of Perumal with the prayers that Earth may be blessed with abundance of flowers and fruits. Sri Swamiji offered the flowers to Perumal along with recital of relevant Mantras.
On February 9, 2026 night Mahapoornahuthi took place in the presence of Sri Swamiji. Acharyas and Rithwiks were felicitated in the Yagasala itself. Later a leave-taking ceremony (Devathodwasana) for all the Devatas who were invited to the Brahmotsavam and Dhwajavarohanam (ceremonial lowering of Garuda flag) were done.
Due to the lunar eclipse on March 3rd, darshan at the Statue of Equality will not be available.
Darshan will resume on March 4th from 3:00 PM onwards.
