Lord Venkateswara Swami issued an order, “Let the command of Ramanujacharya be practiced in all glory everywhere because it bestows the greatest benefit to the entire world”
His command is that every place of worship, be it a vaishnava temple, shiva temple, shakthi temple, church, mosque or any others must be maintained, supported only by those who believe and practice the system of worship in that place.
Offering mangala:sa:sana verses to Lord is to wish Him auspiciousness. What auspiciousness can we offer when He is the source of all auspiciousness? It is out of love that devotees offer wishes for auspiciousness and well-being for the Lord just like children celebrate their parents’ birthdays and wish them well.

Next step in prayer is to state sankalpa, the desire for performing prayer. Place your right palm on the right thigh and join your left palm on top of the right palm. State time, place, and your wish.
