Bha:rath has celebrated 25, 50, 60 and 70 years of Independence. However, 75 years of Independence – Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is awakening everyone with a spirit of oneness with Har Ghar ka Tiranga. Such a spirit can come only when there is an encouraging leadership in the nation.  PM Sri Narendra Modi ji and the teams are leading such sincere efforts.

Twenty feet by thirty feet national flag on a 108 feet high post will stand hoisted from today onwards at the Statue of Equality. It must inspire and remind every visitor of the responsibility that lies on with everyone to see Bha:rath high up in the world arena.

Remembering a discussion with an American

It was about more than a decade ago when we visited the Hall of Presidents in the state of Florida, USA. An American said, “Why is India in such a state despite having thousands of years of history, look at America! We have flourished to a super power stature in the world because of these several great Presidents.”

We said, “It’s been more than 200+ years since America got independence from British rule. Bha:rath got Independence only about 60 years ago. Given some time, the nation will not only regain the past glory but also become a helping hand to the entire world.”

We are currently witnessing Bha:rath’s empowered march towards it already as we celebrate 75 years of Independence. Agriculture to aerospace, medicine to meditation, and in every spectrum Bharath is moving ahead.

A Sage and a Snake

A sage was walking by and saw a snake. He tried to put it away from the path where people walk by. It hissed at him when he tried to do so. The sage tried again. The snake hissed again. He kept trying. The snake kept hissing.

People around asked the sage, “Why are you trying to put it away despite it hissing at you?”

The sage replied, “The snake is following its dharma. It is trying to protect itself thinking I may hurt it. As human beings, we must also follow our dharma, to put it away from where children play, and all other people live so they can feel protected and safer.”

While Bha:rath welcomes everyone with open arms, she will not keep quiet if someone endangers anything that constitutes its spirit and breath.
